Rohit Mujumdar
Rohit Mujumdar (Assistant Professor) is an architect and urban planner, and a student of cities and urbanisation. His current research attends to the myriad ways in which monsoon’s everyday wetness and its extreme events weave into the majority’s life in India’s cities. His previous research focused on the politics of collective action contesting large industrial and infrastructure projects, emerging housing contexts in second cities, urban transition in metropolitan peripheries, heritage and environment conservation, regeneration of port zones, and refugee resettlement and Rehabilitation.

روهيت موجمدار (أستاذ مساعد) معماري ومخطط حضري وباحث في مجال المدن والعمران. تركز أبحاثه على الطرق التي تؤثر بها أمطار المونسون الموسمية، بشكل يومي أو خلال تقلباتها العنيفة، على حياة أغلب سكان مدن الهند. ركزت أبحاثه السابقة على دراسة سياسات العمل الجماعي المناهض للمشاريع الصناعية الكبرى ومشاريع البنية التحتية في الهند، ونماذج الإسكان الناشئة في المدن الثانوية، والتحولات الحضرية في أطراف الحواضر الكبرى، وقضايا الحفاظ على التراث والبيئة، وتجديد مناطق الموانئ، وإعادة توطين وتأهيل اللاجئين.
