Bhawna Jaimini
Bhawna Jaimini is an urban practitioner, writer, and curator based in India. She is the founder of Centre for Urban Commons, a platform dedicated to creating improved and accessible public amenities, infrastructure, and culture in Indian cities. Bhawna has led multiple projects seeking to improve the built and unbuilt habitat of marginalised urban communities in India. She is the author of Happiness City, a children's book that questions the entire paradigm of urban development through the lens of care, compassion, and cooperation. When not dreaming about the end of capitalism, Bhawna spends her time obsessing over her two cats.

باونا جايميني ممارسة عمرانية وكاتبة وقيّمة فنية تعمل من الهند. أسست مركز المشاعات الحضرية (Centre for Urban Commons) كمنصة مخصصة لتهيئة وإتاحة المرافق العامة والبنى التحتية والثقافة في مدن الهند. قادت مشاريع متعددة للارتقاء بالموائل المبنية وغير المبنية للمجتمعات الحضرية المهمشة في الهند. ولها كتاب موجه للأطفال بعنوان "مدينة السعادة" (Happiness City)، تُسائل فيه النموذج السائد للتنمية الحضرية برمتها من منظور إنساني يرتكز على الرعاية والتراحم والتآزر. لا يشغلها عن حلمها بنهاية الرأسمالية سوى الانشغال بقطتيها.
