Adesola Adeyemi
Adesola is an ARB registered, multi-award-winning architect, with more than a decade’s experience in architecture. She holds BSc, master's, and post-graduate diploma degrees in Architecture from the University of Bath, the Academy of Architecture (USI) in Switzerland, and Cardiff University respectively. She advocates a holistic approach to sustainability in the built environment and considers a thorough understanding of contextual, historical, social, physical, and contemporary to be integral to the design process. She has worked on diverse international projects, each reflecting the idiosyncrasies of the vibrant cities they inhabit: London, Lagos, Luanda, and Kigali to name a few. Most recently, her work has centred on the conservation, adaptation, and augmentation of historically and culturally significant buildings. Her restoration projects on two 18th-century buildings have won Georgian Group awards in 2016 and 2021, the Stanford White Award in 2016, and the Historic Houses Award for Restoration in 2021. She has been a visiting critic at the University of the Arts London, a design studio tutor at the University of Bath, and a volunteer with the RIBA Architecture Ambassador Programme in London.

أديسولا أديمي معمارية حائزة على العديد من الجوائز ومسجلة في مجلس تسجيل المهندسين المعماريين في المملكة المتحدة. تمتع أديسولا بخبرة تزيد على عقد من الزمن في مجال العمارة وقد نالت شهادات البكالوريوس والماجستير والدبلوم العالي في العمارة من جامعة باث وأكاديمية الهندسة المعمارية بجامعة سويسرا الإيطالية وجامعة كارديف. تتبنى أديسولا المقاربات التكاملية لاستدامة البيئة المبنية وترى أن عملية التصميم لا تكتمل إلا بالفهم التام للسياق والتاريخ والعوامل الاجتماعية والمادية والواقع المعاصر. عملت على مجموعة متنوعة من المشاريع العالمية التي تعكس خصوصيات مدنها النابضة بالحياة أمثال لندن ولاغوس ولواندا وكيغالي. تركّز اهتمام أديسولا مؤخراً على الحفاظ على المباني ذات الأهمية التاريخية والثقافية وتكييفها وتعزيزها، فحازت مشاريع الترميم التي أنجزتها في مبنيين يعودان إلى القرن الثامن عشر بجائزة المجموعة الجورجية لعامي 2016 و2021 وجائزة ستانفورد وايت عام 2016 وجائزة ترميم المنازل التاريخية عام 2021. إلى ذلك، عملت كناقدة زائرة في جامعة لندن للفنون ومدرسة استوديو التصميم في جامعة باث كما تطوّعت مع برنامج سفراء العمارة التابع للمعهد الملكي للمعماريين البريطانيين في لندن.
