The program hosted a pilot gathering with around 15 participants, mainly from the Goan community in Sharjah, facilitated with the support of Mr. Bernard D'Souza, a frequent participant of the programmes in SAT.
For this session, the group was part of a demonstration of bread-making led by Mrs. Mipath Furtado. While the bread was baking, participants toured the Al Manakh Bio Farm. Homemade snacks and condiments, including jams and pickles brought by the group, were shared alongside the freshly baked bread, the aim of this event was allow the community to familiarise themselves with the farm, share knowledge, and become acquainted with the initiative and the programme.
