Yaala Younis
Native to Iraq and brought up in the UAE, Yaala Younis is a Structural and environmental engineer with a strong passion for design, Engineering, and community development. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Sharjah and gained hands-on experience while working at Darwish Engineering Emirates, collaborating on complex projects with diverse teams.
Yaala holds prestigious certifications, including Project Management Professional (PMP), Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP), and Certified Facility Manager (IFMA-CFM). His expertise spans adaptive reuse and renovation projects, logistics, and large-scale facility management & operations.
Currently, he oversees the Operations and Facility Department at the Sharjah Architecture Triennial, playing a key role in maintaining and enhancing built environments with a focus on sustainability, innovation, and efficient logistical management.

ولد يعلى يونس في العراق ونشأ في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، وهو مهندس إنشائي وبيئي شغوف بالتصميم والهندسة والتنمية المجتمعية. نال درجة البكالوريوس من جامعة الشارقة، وصقل خبراته العملية من خلال عمله في شركة Darwish Engineering Emirates حيث شارك ضمن فريق متعدد التخصصات في العمل على مشاريع معقدة.
يحمل يعلى مجموعة من الشهادات المهنية المرموقة، وهو مجاز في إدارة المشاريع (PMP) وإدارة المخاطر (PMI-RMP) وإدارة المرافق (IFMA-CFM). وتمتد خبرته لتشمل مشاريع إعادة التوظيف التكيّفي وأعمال الترميم، فضلاً عن إدارة وتشغيل المرافق الكبرى والخدمات اللوجستية المرتبطة بها.
يشرف يعلى اليوم على قسم المرافق والعمليات في ترينالي الشارقة للعمارة، حيث يضطلع بدور أساسي في صون بيئات البناء وتطويرها، مرتكزاً إلى قيم الاستدامة والابتكار ومعايير الكفاءة في الإدارة اللوجستية.
