Eman Shafiq
Eman Shafiq is an Architect and recent graduate of the American University of Sharjah. Born and raised in Dubai, she is intrigued by the concept of civic architecture in the UAE and the transformation of architecture in the country since its union and the consequent impact this has had on urban culture. Having a multidisciplinary approach to architecture, she is interested in the processes of design and fabrication at various scales through digital and analogue means. Prior to graduating, she gained professional work experience at an international Architecture firm based in Dubai and has additionally worked as an Architectural Research Assistant to a faculty member at the American University of Sharjah. Eman is currently collaborating with a colleague on research pertaining to Dubai’s cultural and urban development, under the common thematic umbrella of movement, centering on the concept of inflection points for growth.

إيمان شفيق إيمان شفيق معمارية وخريجة حديثة من الجامعة الأمريكية في الشارقة. ولدت ونشأت في دبي، وهي مفتونة بمفهوم الهندسة المدنية في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة وتحول المعمار في البلاد منذ اتحادها وتأثير ذلك على الثقافة الحضرية. لديها نهج متعدد التخصصات في المعمار، فهي مهتمة بعمليات التصميم والتصنيع على مستويات مختلفة من خلال الوسائل الرقمية والتماثلية. قبل التخرج، اكتسبت خبرة عمل احترافية في شركة معمار دولية مقرها في دبي، وعملت بالإضافة إلى ذلك كمساعدة أبحاث معمارية لدكتور في الجامعة الأمريكية في الشارقة. تتعاون إيمان حاليًا مع أحد الزملاء في مجال البحوث المتعلقة بالتنمية الثقافية والحضرية في دبي، تحت المظلة المواضيعية المشتركة للحركة، مع التركيز على مفهوم نقاط انعطاف النمو.
